Cajon Programme
The Cajon Programme teaches students to play the cajon, a box-shaped drum that the player sits on and strikes with the hands. MOE primary and secondary schools and international schools can book it, and organisations can ask for it too.

What is a cajon?
The cajon is a box-shaped drum from Peru. Players sit on the box and slap its front face with their hands, tilting it slightly towards them.
What do students do in the programme?
Students sit in a circle and learn rhythm patterns, then play them together and in turns.
The programme sits under the Creative Mind, one of the 3 Minds our programmes are built on.
Which schools can book it?
MOE primary and secondary schools, and international schools. Organisations can ask for the programme too. Tell us the level and the number of students you have in mind, and we will plan around them.
How is the programme set up for a school?
Every school's needs are different, so we agree the number of sessions and the group size with each school before the programme starts. Send us your term dates with your enquiry and we can begin from there.
Usual number of sessions, and who supplies the instruments: To be confirmed.
