STOMP Percussion Programme

The STOMP Percussion Programme teaches students to make rhythm with their bodies and everyday objects, and to play it together as a group. MOE primary and secondary schools and international schools can book it, and organisations can ask for it too.

What do students play?

Rhythm is made by stomping and clapping, with objects that can be struck. Students need no instrument of their own.

What do students do in the programme?

Students learn short rhythm patterns and layer them, so different groups in the class play different parts at the same time.

The programme sits under the Creative Mind, one of the 3 Minds our programmes are built on.

Which schools can book it?

MOE primary and secondary schools, and international schools. Organisations can ask for the programme too. Tell us the level and the number of students you have in mind, and we will plan around them.

How is the programme set up for a school?

Every school's needs are different, so we agree the number of sessions and the group size with each school before the programme starts. Send us your term dates with your enquiry and we can begin from there.

Usual number of sessions: To be confirmed.

Yes. We agree the number of sessions and the group size with each school, because no two schools need the same thing.
